Apart from the delicious eye candy of colorful graphics, Enjoi does not bother to elaborate further on the construction of the deck, mostly leaving it to the end-users to find out for themselves. Nevertheless, Enjoi decks tend to be on the thin side with a deep concave that may appeal to certain users. It finds another common ground with Almost in the use of epoxy finish for lighter, but tougher than the average, boards. The epoxy keeps the deck together longer and better withstands rough, hard landings. However, Enjoi differs perceptibly in the lack of constructional fuss indulged over by Almost. Most noticeable in an Enjoi deck is the considerable amount of pop demonstrated, which disappears after a while. Also, the boards can snap in a bad way when it finally gives in, which can likely cause a user to fall hard.
When it comes to durability and overall riding comfort, Enjoi may not be at the top of the list. But its funny graphics can hugely make up for these shortcomings. The boards that Enjoi creates are unique and interesting. The whimsical characters, especially the gentle-eyed panda, can become endearing in such short notice – a demonstration of how looks can win over functionality.
