Almost seems to have seriously focused on the structure of its boards, as made apparent in the various developments it has been applying. Its earlier application focused on resin epoxy construction. Resin-7 is a 7-ply make that is lighter but stronger than the average 7-ply board. Its follow-on, Resin-8, is an 8-ply epoxy construction that is supposed to be significantly stronger than, but weighs the same as, the standard 7-ply.
Almost further develops two other enhancements. One is the Uber Light technology, which incorporates a carbon fiber foam deck within a standard 7-ply layup, thus the label, “a deck within a deck.” This carbon fiber foam deck is imagined add a supernatural pop that lasts longer than the average deck – a most alluring detail for “pop” enthusiasts. The brand also created Impact Support to disperse energy away from the traditional breaking areas. Both developments come with a 30-day guarantee, a bit unnecessary if these boards are indeed as strong as they are designed to be. But perhaps the full-concave design can win some approval from concave fans.
